In this post, I will cover three teams instead of the normal two teams per post. This is due to wanting to fit all the teams into 10 posts. As such, next post will also cover the three final teams. These three teams are all located in China and are new to the Over \watch League. Because of this, man players were not quite known to the usual fan base and were ranked low in many Overwatch personalities' power rankings. However, since he end of Stage 2, many of these new teams have shattered expectations and have proved that they should not be looked down upon. Starting us off is the Guangzhou Charge. Guangzhou Charge The Charge were a wild card coming into the new season. They had a miss-matched roster consisting of Koreans, Chinese, and British players. For many Overwatch players, analysts, and writers, the Charge averaged 15th out of the 20 teams. While not last, the Charge ended Stage 1 3-4 and was ranked 11th. The Charge have multiple players on a two-way contract, and

Up next is a tradition in sports in the United States: Los Angeles get more than one team. The Overwatch League is no exception and the city boasts two teams: the LA Gladiators and the LA Valiant. Starting off will be the boys in purple, the Los Angeles Gladiators. Los Angeles Gladiators The Gladiators (LAG) ended the first season with a decent record of 25-15. Faced with a rocky start, they made some changes to their roster and became near unstoppable, though losing the chance to play in the season 1 Grand Finals. Much like last season, LAG appeared to be team with many problems that resulted in a less than stellar record, but by the end of the first stage, the Gladiators got  all of their ducks in a row and became the team that the fans were familiar with last season. The Gladiators do have a play on a two-way contract and will not be mentioned. Coaching and Management The Gladiators are owned by Kroenke Sports & Entertainment who also own several traditional spo

With the start of the Pacific Division, we will cover five teams based in China and South Korea and five in North America. Starting off will be the Dallas Fuel, a rock solid team on paper that turned into a nightmare, and the San Francisco Shock, a team that thinks tank players and support players are overrated but still got amazing talent in all categories. First up is the Dallas Fuel! Dallas Fuel The Dallas Fuel was the formed from Team EnVyUs (now Envy or NV), one of the best non-Korean teams out there, especially with the disbanding of French team Rouge. The Fuel showed promise during the preseason, especially having popular streaming personalities on the team, but as the first stage rolled around, the Dallas Fuel rolled over. EFFECT, a damage role player, temporarily left for home due to his mental state. But after having players suspended, players added and traded, and certain doom on the horizon, the Fuel got their eggs in a row and had a positive record in the final stag

With the new season in progress, it seems right to put the two consistently best performing teams for last. It is just coincidence that these two teams are in the Atlantic Division,. The first to be covered are the New York Excelsior (NYXL). Next will be last season's Overwatch League champions - the London Spitfire.  New York Excelsior The NYXL was the powerhouse of the League, with star players in every category and an amazing season ending record of 34-6. Despite this amazing record, they lost to the Philadelphia Fusion for the chance to go against the London Spitfire in the Grand Finals. Like the Toronto Defiant and the London Spitfire, the Excelsior elected to go with a full Korean roster, which annoyed some people, but when the NYXL started to see results, no one really talked about it after. Coaching and Management The NYXL is owned by Jeff Wilpon, the COO of the New York Mets. He recruited WizardHyeong first, but he was traded to the Washington Justice. Hyeon-s

As of this post, the Overwatch League has been going on for two weeks now and most every match can be decided by a coin flip. This is refreshing because during the first season, it was clear which teams were the best and who would participate in the stage playoffs. But with the new expansion teams, roster changes, and character meta/compositions, everyone is on a near equal playing field. The new expansion teams being covered today are the Paris Eternal and the Toronto Defiant. Paris Eternal With their logo being an unofficial symbol of France, the Paris Eternal opted for an all European team. France already had a very successful Overwatch team, named Rouge, that was hailed as one of the best teams in the West and could stand with the best Korean teams. Since Rouge's disbanding, many of its players went off to other teams, retired from Overwatch, or turned to other hobbies. The Eternal's choice to be all European many people excited to see what players would
